Harelbeke weir lock
About this project
The assignment comprises the following: designing, building a new weir lock with fish passage, deepening the River Lys, modernising the Hogebrug, providing a bicycle bridge over the River Lys and rebuilding the Vrijdomkaai, Twee-Bruggenstraat and Moleneiland in Harelbeke.
The new lock will replace the current lock and will be 230 m long, 12.5 m wide and 4.7 m deep.
